We are thrilled to present our latest album, "The Bellmer Session," which captures a truly remarkable moment in time. We made the decision to record the entire album in one session, one morning.

Our choice to record in a single day and session was driven by our desire to preserve the spontaneity and energy of improvised music while incorporating written arrangements. We aimed to avoid the sterile feeling often associated with modern recordings. Drawing inspiration from the 1930s and 1940s, when recording sessions were expensive and time-consuming, we wanted to recreate that raw and authentic atmosphere that emerged from limited resources.

Our repertoire spans a wide range, encompassing beloved swing hits such as Count Basie's "One O Clock Jump" and Fats Waller's "Yacht Club Swing." We also take delight in exploring lesser-known gems like Jabbo Smith's "Absolutely" and Henry Red Allen's "Watcha gonna Do When There Ain't no Swing." Additionally, we proudly present original compositions such as "Lago di Como" by Daniel Duspiwa (music) and David Hermlin (lyrics).
